I had an amazing stay at this hidden gem in a serene onsen town. The outdoor onsens, carved out of a giant tree and a rock, offered a unique and picturesque experience. The attentive staff, like Yoshida san, went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The kaiseki ryori, with its multiple delicious courses, was a delightful surprise each meal.
Wifi was only available in the reception area.

The secluded location of the hotel offered a peaceful escape from the city. the onsen baths, cut out of a giant tree and a rock, were unique and relaxing. the food was a highlight, with multiple courses that tasted delicious. Being surrounded by mountains made the stay extra special.
The lack of wifi in the rooms did make it difficult to plan the next leg of our trip. There was some dust in the room and spider webs visible, which felt uncomfortable.
